Visit to Buffalo

We took a trip to Buffalo to get my brakes fixed and to visit Aunt Melissa, Great Aunt Pam, and Cousins.  A trip to Buffalo wouldn't be complete without a family outing to Ted's.  This time was Teagan's first (and certainly not last) visit.  We took some pretend pictures, but Teagan will have to wait until she's a little older to enjoy her first flame broiled foot-long goodness.

Little Red Wagon

To help enhance her new walking skills, we let Teagan use her Easter present a little early.  She got a walker wagon, which is useful for walking, pushing toys, pushing kitties, and riding in.  At first she was a little hesitant because she is used to walking while hanging on to our hands, however with a little practice she is getting better at taking steps on her own using it.  I am sure she will be cruising around the house with it in no time (and the plastic bumper will come in handy when she learns to ram it into the furniture and walls)!

Teagan loves to be pushed at 90 mph in loops around the house by Daddy!  Here she is hanging on for dear life (but loving every minute!!!)

Just Teagan

A walk in the park

We took Teagan to the park today to enjoy the nice weather and give the swings a try.  She loved the swings, the slides, and the other toys.  We look forward to many more visits to the park in the coming weeks, months, and years!

She didn't want to get off the little car!

So much fun!

Time to go home

Finally an update!

I have been quite the slacking blogger recently.  Well, in fairness to me, I have been quite busy with taking care of Teagan and with work, so obviously blogging takes a back seat.  Matt was out of town earlier this week, so T and I were on our own for a few days.

A recap of what T has been up to in the last few weeks:
  • Crawling around like a madwoman
  • Pulling to standing
  • Waving bye bye
  • Waving to the kitties "just because"
  • Expanding her baby babbles to all sorts of noises including some nana and yaya sounds
  • Bumping and bruising herself with falling - I had to fill out two "incident reports" at daycare this week because of her stunt tricks
  • She is getting at least 2 top teeth coming in (looks like the first top front on one side and the second one over on the other side - that or she has a mad gap between her two front teeth!)
  • Eating all kinds of big girl foods  - she had a bean and cheese burrito at daycare one day (just beans & cheese in a tortilla), parsnips and asparagus among other veggies in a soup made by Grammy Sue, scrambled eggs, fish, and the list goes on.  And the girl hasn't met a food she doesn't like
  • Just generally being a really awesome, happy, playful kid who is so special to her mama and dada
Teagan turns 10 months old tomorrow - hard to believe!  Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.  No pictures of the top teeth yet but as soon I can I will try to capture some!

Crawling Video

As promised, video of T crawling.  In our house, Cheerios work as great incentive!  This was taken after work today - it was Jammie day at daycare so Teagan was in her blue PJs.

She crawls...finally!

There will certainly be video to follow, however for now here is a cell phone picture of Teagan in action with her new trick - crawling.  She has been putting together all 100 pieces of the puzzle over the last month or more. We kept saying "any day now"...but today is finally the day!  Teagan was tuckered out so she is taking a nap, but the video camera will start filming as soon as she wakes up!!!  She was in such a good mood this afternoon, probably as proud of herself for learning to crawl as her Mama is!
