Friday was "team spirit" day at Teagan's daycare. Of course, Teagan had to show her love for her home team by wearing her Bills jersey. Then, it occurred to me that perhaps the other little babies in her room might tease her for liking the Bills after their pitiful, awful season. So I hope little Joshua and Braeden weren't too tough on Teagan. If they were, she probably diffused the situation by offering them her teething toy, complete with slobber of course. She's so generous, my Teagan. Below are some playtime pictures from Friday evening.

Happy 8 Months Teagan
Quick post - Teagan is 8 months old today. Such a big girl! I cant believe we are 2/3 of the way through her first year! Other than that, we are just in the grind of another work week so I don't have much else to post (or much time to do it - her nap is almost up!) Then it's eat time, play time, then bed time! More posts to come this weekend. In the meantime, a picture from last weekend:

Girly Girl
I've never been a girly girl, and I don't dress Teagan in overly frilly outfits, but she does wear a lot of pink and purple. Teagan's Aunt Jenna recently bought her a super cute white tutu that I have to admit is very adorable, and very girly. Of course it's not an every day type outfit, but Teagan pulls off the girly/ballerina/princess look quite well, especially with the addition of a magenta shirt and striped leggings!

TeaganLou Who
Let's face it, bath pictures are only cute until a certain age (although we're still safely in that range, in my opinion). It's not like I bring my camera for every bath. This particular night, I was shampooing T's hair, and a cute little CindyLou Who-esque curl emerged. I yelled for Matt to run upstairs and come see something. He laughed and said "cute!". Then I asked him to run back downstairs and grab my camera and suddenly he wasn't so amused. He did the favor for me, so I ended up taking pictures long after the cute curl was washed away.

Yummy toes (hey, at least they're freshly washed!)
Happy Birthday Uncle Chris
Teagan took a last minute road trip last weekend to CT to visit her Uncle Chris for his birthday. She had fun celebrating and spending the weekend with family. She was very good, and even spent a majority of her sleeping hours in her pack 'n play (which is usually a challenge for her!)

More Peas Please!
In honor of Grandma George, here are some pictures of Teagan eating (and enjoying!) peas. I can't say they're her favorite, but she ate them all up.
Most posts to come soon...between traveling last weekend and another lovely stomach bug sweeping through our household this week, I have been a little delinquent in my blogging....

Random Stuff
Teagan layed in my lap and I snapped this cute picture
Finally a picture of her two bottom teeth!
Thinking about crawling
The only picture I took on our trip to the Southern Tier (Jim's house) - wild turkeys crossing the road. Wish I had some cutie pictures of T!
Pink carseat that was installed in Mama's car...if it weren't for her stripes she'd blend right in!

Solids Eater
Teagan seemed to not love baby food for a while, but now she is getting the hang of it! This was her while eating bananas and oatmeal for dinner. She also eats Puffs which are like little cereal pieces and seems very proud when she can put them in her mouth and gum them all by herself.
Christmas Ornaments
Teagan got 5 very special gifts for Christmas that we will cherish forever. Some very special people in Teagan's life got her ornaments for the Christmas tree. Each is very unique and very special. The pictures aren't great but they give you an idea of what each looks like.
Star ornament from Mommy and Daddy - engraved with "Teagan Avery 5/29/08"
From Grammy Sue, a pretty Lenox Baby's First Christmas ornament
A Swarovski crystal snowflake with a 2008 tag at the top - a gift from Grampy C to commemorate T's birth and T's first Christmas. 2008 was a special year indeed. The picture just doesn't do this ornament justice.
"Teagan's First Christmas" baby girl ornament from Grammy and Grampy George
A stocking ornament from the Crowe, O'Donnell and Walker families in Albany with "First Christmas" in pink on the top.

Teagan's First Christmas Part III
Teagan was lucky enough to have two more Christmas celebrations after Christmas day. She celebrated with Grammy Sue, Uncle Chris, Aunt Naomi and Aunt Jenna. She got lots of wonderful gifts, including a very special book, some much needed bibs, and lots of toys and clothes. She also got a special gift from her Great Grandma and Grandpa N. Today she celebrated with Grampy C where she got some books and a beautiful and very special Swarovski crystal snowflake ornament. Teagan truly is blessed to have such a wonderful family who loves her very much. Unfortunately, Mommy wasn't on top of things and doesn't have many pictures to show from these celebrations, which she regrets!
